A meeting of the creditors of Mr John Cot her, draper, &c, Cashel House, Christchnrcn, was held at the Temperance Hotel, yesterday afternoon, Mr Brown (Sargood aad Co.) in the chair. Mr Stringer, on behalf of debtor, said he was instructed to offer the creditors a cash composition of 5s in the pound, or an assignment. It was resolved unanimously that Mr Cother be requested to file his schedule in bankrnptcy at once.
