[eeutee's telegrams.] MELBOURNE, January 19. Fire. A serious fire occurred at Sandridge to-day, resulting in the total destruction of seven wooden buildings. The Weather. An intense heat has been experienced in the city to-day, the thermometer at the Observatory registering 107 in the shade. SYDNEY, January 19. Shipping. Sailed this morning—Union Company's steamer Hero, for Auckland. Smallpox Victim. One of the female passengers by the Garonne died at the quarantine station to-day. The late Crew of the "Wolverine. Roar-Admiral Wilson and 192 officers and men who lately formed the crew of H.M.S. Wolverine will sail to-morrow for England by the Orient Company's steamship Lusitania. ALBANY, January 19. Smallpox on a P. & 0. BoatArrived this morning—The P. and O. Company's steamer Mirzapore. She has two cases of smallpox aboard, and has been quarantined.
