Judgment was given for plaintiff for £9 ss, with costs of Court, and 10s expenses of one witness. Judgments went by default for plaintiffs in Harris v Bryant, £2 17s j Jones v Smith, £47s } Smith v Willis and Dunlop, £718j43 ; and Healip v Harvey, £1 14s 6d. Hurd v Lambert was adjourned till January 18:fc. Wbdnbsday, Januaby 18. [Before B. Beetbam, Esq, 8.M., and R. Westenra, J.P.] Dbunkenness.—Michael Rjan was fined ss. James Barrett, who was suffering from delirium tremens, was remanded for seven days for medical treatment. UsiSG Threatening Language.—Thos. Gallic, alias Gillon, alias Dillon, alias O'Connor, was charged with the above offence, and with vagrancy. Sergeant Mason said the priioner had behaved vere violently at Dunsandei on December 31at, and called a witnesa, whose deposition, however, waa quite inaudible at the reporters' table. The prisoner received a sentenco of three months' imprisonment with hard labor. The prisoner was also charged with breaking into, and stealing from, a dwelling-house, and with atealing a horap, saddle and bridle, but theie charges were dropped by the police for want of evidence. [This information was obtained from Sergeant Mason, it being impossible to hear what was said by the Magistrate or others, j Lunacy pbom Dbink.—Mary M. Long, who had been sent to Addington for medical treatment, waa now brought up as cured, and was discharged. She waa ordered to pay 13a 61 for her maintenance while in prison and la 6d cab hire.
