AUSTRALIA.
MELBOURNE, January 16. Jamea Mace, the ex-pugilist, and thirtj-one others were arrested on Satnrday right for gambling. The "Argus" to-day publishes a specul telegram from London stating that a company is being formed there for the purpose of taking over the business of Messrs Cunningham and Royse, Stead and Co., of Christchurch. The capital of the company will be £1,000,000.
