TEMPLETON SPORTS.
The following events occurred at the Templeton Sports on Tuesday after the departure of tbe train for Ohrutohurch, when our reporter left: District Farmers' Trotting Eaee ; three miles, catch weights ; first prize, £2 and half the entrance fees; second horse, half the entrance fees ; entrance, sa. Messrs Philips and Watson's Tommy ... 1 Mr E. Bowe's Darky 2 Eight hoiß'-s ran. District Farmers' Hack Kace; one mile, lOst 71b; first prize, .£2 and half nomination fees; second horse, half the entrance fees; entrance, ss. Mr S. Amyse's Stockings 1 Mr E. Bowe's Darky 2: Eleven horses ran. There was one false start. Afterward! Mr T. Bailey effected a good start, when all the horses got away together, and a good raceensued. A foncert and dance was bald in the evening, in the Foresters' Hall, ia connection with. the sports committee, when there was a good attendance. It passed oft very successfully, and dancing was kept up till an early hour in th 3 morning.
