PRIZE DISTRIBUTIONS.

MB GEE'S SCHOOL. The annual distribution of prizes was made at this school on Monday last. Mr Gee, in addressing the scholars, said that in teaching them three things had always beon in hia mind -1. That whatever the subjeot to be taught might be they should be made to understand it as thoroughly as possible, and from all points of view. 2. To instil into their minds a love of enquiry, by opening out to them some of the wonderful truthß which aro made known to us by science, so that on leaving school they might have the taste, and, in some degree, the power to follow up Buch subjects as their individual inclinations and genius might incline them to. 3. To imprcßß upon them that any education which leaves God out of it is defective ; that the recognition of His power and will underlies all science as well as religion, since both alike are from Him, so that they might go forth from school armed against the Athciatioal views so much in force in theße times, and which aro covered with a flimsy pretenoo of science ond reason.
