The Customs duties collected at Christchurch an Monday, November 14th, were as follows Spirits, -C265 6s Sd; tobacco, .£9l 7s 8d; cigars, -£3B 2s ; wine, -£35 15s 101; beer, -810 5s 6d ; sugar, -8131 12s 3d; tea, -£2B 16s 8d; goods by weight, -£206 17s 7d ; ad valorem, -£377 8s); other duties, .£217 0s sd. Total, -£1402 12s 7d. At the usual sitting of the Waste Lands Board, held at Christchurch on Monday, November 14th, sales were made as follows; — Ordinary : Geraldine, 255 a Or 20p ; Waimate, 35a 2r. Public Reserves Sale Act, 1878 and 1879, suburban, South Rakaia, la 3r 34p. Total acreage sold, 292 a2r 14p. Total cash received, -£615 ss. Refunds on account of former purchases were mode in the amount of -8602 6s 9d.
