TASMANIAN STUD SHEEP.
Yesterday Messrs Robert Wilkin and Co. submitted a valuable consignment of purw bred stud rams and ewes from the flocks of nine of the most prominent flookmasters in Tasmania, viz.;—Messrs Robert Jones, Joseph Archer, I. D. Toosey, Wm. Gibson and Son, George Parramore, W. A. Eermode, James Gibson, W. H. Gibson and Thomas Parramore. It is satisfactory to note that all the lots were quitted, although the prices realised in the major number were not suck as to encourage these well-known breeders to risk the per centage of deaths that result from a sea passage.
