SITTINGS IN CHAMBERS. Friday, November 11. [Before His Honor Mr Justice Johnston.] His Honor held a sitting in Chambers this morning, and disposed of the fallowing business: — DISCHARGES. Mr Perceval applied for discharges in the oases of Charles Hatohard and George Wenlook, which his Honor granted. BE STUDHOLMR AND OTHERS V RHODES AND OTHERS. On the motion of Mr Garrick for an order for payment of money out of Court, his Honor made the necessary order. CREDITORS’ TRUSTEE OF FRAZER AND CO. V BROWN AND BEAUMONT. Mr Garrick obtained leave to appeal from the decision of yesterday. BE a. H, HANK EVIL, A DEBTOR. Mr Slater applied for an order for the debtor’s discharge. Mr Spackman opposed on behalf of the trustees. After argument by the learned counsel. Hie Honor said the case must stand over till the trustees sent in a report. Adjourned accordingly. EE W. HAMILTON, DECEASED. Mr Spackman applied for an order for letter of administration to Robert Hamilton for reduction of penalty and for approval of William John Ferguson as surety. His Honor made the order as prayed. RE EDWARD EVANS, DECEASED. Mr Gresson applied for an order for probate to Robert Atkinson, executor. > His Honor granted the application. IN BANCO. THE QUEEN IN RELATION TO WALCOT V HOWELL, This was for return to rule nisi of 19th August, 1881. Mr Q. Harper (Mr White, of Timaru, concurring) obtained leave to withdraw, each party paying own costs.
