Mr T. Seaton, M.P. for Sligo, who has been lodged in Kilmainbam gaol since tho 14th nit-., for soditions conduct, has now been released owing to ill health. Reaction. The municipal elections which have taken place throughout England during the past few days show a considerable gain to the Tories. The latter's success is believed to have been due to the support of the Irish ratepayers. PARIS, November 1. Mew Treaty.

King Humbert and Queen Margherita left here to-day for Rome. Their Majesties were received with great cordiality by the Austrian Imperial family, and great festivities were held in their honor during their stay in this city.
