[PBBSB ABBOOIATION TBLEGBAM-l OPUNAKE, November 4. Major Baillie and fifty of Marlborough Volunteers arrived this morning per Stella. Tbey march at once to Pungarehu. Ihe road between here and Stoney river has beou closed for troffic, by order of Colonel Roberts, to day and to-morrow.
[from a correspondent.] OPUNaKE, November 4. The Wellington Engineers, Kifle3, and Wairarnpa Volnnteois landed yesterday morning, and marched on to Raholu at one o'clock. On landing, Dr>. Divers and Watts, who accompanied them, were informed that no more doctors were required. The matter will doubtless be fully inquired into. Tho Volunteers left the store at Wellington half equipped. There i» general complaint by them of the management. They havo only a ball bag to carry forty rounds of ammunition. By an advertisement in the " Taranaki Herald," Colonel Roberts stops tho traffic on tho road to Opunako and Stony River to-day and to-morrow. Tho Wellington contingent march at 1 p.m. for Rahotu, headed by tho Guards' band. The Native Minister, accompanied by forty Taranaki mounted rifles, visited Parihaka yesterday. Fe Btayed a few minutes, and then returned. Fifty Marlborough Volunteers landed to-day.
