Consols are unchanged at 99; New Zealand Five per Cent. 10-40 Loan has advanced to 102, and New Zealand Five per Cent. 1889 Loan to 104 ; New Zealand Four and a Half per Cent. 1879-1904 Loan, 98|-. The market for colonial hroadstuffa is unchanged. Adelaide wheat, ox warehouse, 57s ; New Zealand do., 545; Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, 425; Australian tallow, best beef, 38s; best mutton has advanced 6d per cwt to 41s. BATAYIA, October 31. An epidemic of cholera has broken out in Java, and is raging in many parts of the island. Several deaths have already resulted from the outbreak.
