GRAIN AND PRODUCE. The amount of business transacted during the week has been of a very trifling nature, which would lead to the inference that stocks in the country are decidedly moderate. A few transactions in wheat have been reported at 4s 6d for fair quality, with a trifle more for superior samples. The demand for feeding wheat is good, but very little is offering. Flour is quiet at ,£ll 10a for best town brands. Oats remain quiet, and we have not heard of any transactions of consequence. The barley market is however active, and considerable second band saloa have taken place at up to 3s 9d- Malt kas also followed suit, and we hear of some large sales at much enhanced prices. Dairy produce is exceedingly quiet, there being no outside demand whatever.
