The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 225,000 quarters. Adelaide flour, ex store, 42s ; Australian, tallow, best beef, has fallen Is per cwt., to 38s; and best mutton Is 6d, to 40s 6d. PARIS, October 28. The Tunisian War. Telegrams are to hand from Tunis announcing that the French expeditionary force dispatched against the Arabs at Kairwan has reached that place and occupied it without opposition. It was found that the rebels had previously pillaged the town and then retreated to the South. M. Gambetta. The newly-elected Chamber of Deputies met to-day for the first time, when M. Gambetta was again elected President, pending the verification of the election returns. VIENNA, October 28. Hero Worship. The Italian and Austrian Press have recently published mutually eulogistic articles in reference to the present meeting of King Humbert and the Emperor Francis Joseph.
