The Customs duties collected at Christchurch on Thursday, October 27th, wore as follows : —Spirits, £l6 5s lid; tobacco, £-2 8s; wine, £33 19s 8d; beer, £6 12s; sugar, £22 Is fid; tea, £29 8s 2d; timber, £2O 17s; ad valorem, £27 16s; other duties, £lllla. Total, £l9O 19s 6d. At the usual sitting of tho Wasto Lands Board hold at Christchurch on Thursday, October 27th, sales were made as follows: —Ordinary—Ashley, 20a; Salwyn, sa; Ashburton, 95a 2r 32p ; Geraldine, la. Deferred payments: Village settlements South Eakaia, 9a Or 3p; Orari. No. 2, sa. Total goreige sold, 235 a2r 35p. Total cash received, £533 lls 9d. Eefnuds on account of former purchases were made in tho amount of £lßlSs Cd.
