[PBB FBBSB ASSOCIATION.J OHINEMDIU, October 26. Vaccination of the Natives. The Natives complain that not more than halt of them have been vaccinated. A doctor has been up once from Tauranga, and promised to return in a week. The Natives accordingly collected from the surrounding country, but the doctor did not put in an appearance, except in odd instances. The Natives along this coast appear to know little of Te Whiti. The tourist season has now fairly set in. TAURANGA, October 26. ElectoralMr G. Vosey Stewart addressed the electors at Greertown last night. A vote of confidence was passed. WELLINGTON, October 26. Colonel Reader and the Artillery. At the meeting of the Artillery last night, the reply received from the Defence Minister relative to Colonel Reader’s remarks to the Battery was discussed. The Lieutenant commanding and a Sergeant of the Battery, who was present at the interview, stated that they were not under a misapprehension as to the meaning of Colonel Reader, It was decided to reply to the letter from the Defence Minister, and expressed the feeling of the Battery on the subject. Electoral. Mr Hutcheson, one of the candidates for South Wellington, addressed a portion of the electors at Newtown last night, and received a vote of confidence. Bank of New Zealand. At tho half-yearly meeting of the Bank of Now Zealand held at Auckland to-day, a dividend of 10 per cent, and a bonus of 5 per cent, was declared, and £23,700 carried forward.
