[PBEB3 ASSOCIATION TBIBGEAII] WELLINGTON, October 2L. The following are the vital statistics for September :
The deaths of persons not residents of boroughs, occurring at Hospitals, have been excluded in all cases. Tho total births in the above boroughs amounted to 476, against 502 in August, being a decrease of 26. Tho deaths amounted to 175 in September, an increase of 27 on tho number for August. Or the above deaths males contributed 90 and females 76 ; 69 of the deaths were of children under five years of ago, being 39.43 per cent, of tho whole number; 43 of these were of children under one year of age.
