Mails oloaa at the Chief Post Office lor the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7, For Otago, per Wakatipu, at 1.45 p.m. ; lata fee letters, at 2 p.m. ; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Te Anau, at 3.20 p.m. ; late fee letters, 3.30 p.m. ; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8. For United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, Cape ot Good Hope, Natal, &c. (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, and Northern Porta of New Zealand, per Wanata, as follows : —Ordinary letters at, 6.30 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 7 pm. ; books and newspapers, at 630 p.m.; money orders at 3 p.m. ; registered letters, at 5 p.m.; guard’s van, 8.30 p.m. train. This mail will be dne in London on November 22nd.
