Allen, Morrah, Beauchamp, Palliser, Orr, Shaw, Union Steamship Company, agents. Tha Union Steamship Company's s.s. Hawea arrived yesterday at noon from Wellington and Northern ports, and left for Wellington, Pioton, and Nelson, at 2 p.m. Mr C. W. Turner’s barquentine Jasper, under charter to Messrs Cuff and Graham, sailed early on Saturday morning for Cape Town, with a cargo of produce, shipped by Messrs H. Hawkins and Co. From the Capo the vessel is to proceed to Mauritius, and load there for this port. The delay in the arrival of the Hawea was tha result of detention at the Maunkau. The steamer left Onehunga on the 30th of August, but on reaching the bar the danger signal was hoisted, and the vessel had to return to the wharf, where she remained until 11.30 a.m. on the let instant. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Bluff, September 5. Tha Ta Anau left Melbourne on 31st, at 3 p.m., experiencing strong favourable winds and high seas. Past South-West Cope on the 4th, at 9 p.m., and arrived at the Bluff on sth, at 7 a.m. Sails at 4 p.m. for Dunedin. Passengers —For Bluff—Dr. Gordon, Miss MoKellar, Mrs Pearson, Messrs McKellar, Pearson, Webster, Currie, and eight steerage. For Dunedin—Miss Hickes, Messrs Wilson, Forest, Watson, Dowdall, Morphy, Buchan, Bateman and daughter, Brnnton, and Miss Reynolds, Mrs Leary.
