TRANSFER OF BUSINESS. SOME few weeks ago the Clothing and Mercery Shop next door to P. Petewen ■ad Co., known as the ‘‘Bee Hive ”changed hands, the stock having been purchased by H. B. May and Co. from Mr C. P. Hub bert. The Terms were OiSH. The Clothing to be given at valuation, and the Mercery, &0., at one-half the marked price. The stock was quite new, having been selected -within the last year, with Mr Halbert’s wellknown taste and good judgment. H. B. May and Co. now state that having bought on such favorable terms, they will be able in a few days to offer the whole of the Stock for Sale at their premises. The Hall, High street, Christchurch, at one-half the original price.
