[belter's telegrams.] MELBOURNE, August 30. Railway Accident A serious accident occurred this morning on the Melbourne and Hawthorne Railway, near Jolimont. A tiro of one of the wheels broke while the train was proceeding between Richmond and Jolimont, when the engine and all the carriages loft the rails at the station gates at the latter place. Some of the carriages capsized, and several passengers wore injured, some of them seriously. SYDNEY, August 30. The Mail Boat. The Queensland Cricket Association, at a meeting held last night, resolved that it was unable to arrange for a visit of the English team upon the terms proposed by Mr Conway, but at the same time is willing to do all in its power to assist the team if they come on their own responsibility.
