Wholesale Letter Eobbery.

Fred. Day Rendle, a letter carrier attached to the Napier Post-office, was arrested last nigbt, charged with tampering with letters. For some time, moneys sent by post had not reached their destination, and a trap was laid for him, and he was discovered in his room, where there were several letters found. Rendle is a young man of superior education, and came to the colony about seven years ago as a midshipman on an emigrant ship, and ran away when the ship was at Napier.
