Charge of Arson.
At the Magistrate’s Court this mormug, Abraham and Lewis Moses, of the Cash Palace Drapery, were charged with arson in connection with the late fire, and pleaded “ Not Guilty." On the application of their counsel, they were remanded until Friday next, when it is expected some additional evidence may be forthcoming. DDNEDIN, August 22. Death.
The Rev. W. Johnstone, Presbyterian minister at Port Chalmers, died yesterday.
