The barque Bells returned to Pert last night, from Newcastle, after an absence of several aionths, during which she called at Cape Town and various other ports. Captain W. C'lincrou, of the steamer Tit..n, reports picking up a large kauri pine log yosiorday about two milos inside Pigeon Bay. He thinks it had been washod off the deck of a vessel, and it had tho appoavvnee of having been afloat a considerable time. It was about 20fi. in laugth and 6ft. in girth, a>:d would.no doubt, prove' ft rather dangerous obstcclo in a vessel's path. The m istor of tho Titan towod the log up to Lyttelfcon.
