OAMABO, August 11. The New Woollen Factory. A meeting for the purpose of taking steps to establish a woollen factory in Oamaru was held last night. The meeting was unanimously of opinion that the present was a favourable time to establish such a factory, and it was resolved that as soon as 10,000 shares of £1 each had been subscribed the necessary plant should be purchased, and a site secured. The proposed capital of the company is £25,000. DUNEDIN, August 11. Football. The football match, Dunedin v Invercargill, was won by the former with two goals and three tries to Invercargill’s one goal.
