PAPANUI CLUB. Ooureing was resumed yesterday morning on the estate of Archdeacon Wilson, which is leased to Mr Holmes, by whose courtesy it was placed at the disposal of the club. The various events were brought to a conclusion as follows : The Cup. First Ties—continued. Lo Lonp boat Cain Flying Fish ran a bye Second Ties. Seafield boat Agent Flying Fish beat Young Ridley Lo Loup ran an accidental bye. Peeress being drawn Third Ties. Seafield ran n bye Flying Fish beat Lo Loup Final Course. Mr H. McConnell’s w and f b Flying Pish, by Azamat —Eubina.beat Mr E. Cookson’s r d Seafield, by Azamat—L’Esprit, and won the Cup. Sapling Stakes. First Ties. Qirofla beat Trickscy Sir George boat Virginia Water Yashti beat Liberator Giroflo beat Maritana Second Ties. Qirofla beat Sir George Giroflo beat Vashti Final Course. Ae both Girofla and Girofle belong to the game owner, it was determined by him to consider the money falling to winner and runner up as divided. The club intends winding up the season by a dinner on Monday evening next, at Mr J. Wild's Hotel, Papanui.
