[EEUTER’d TELEGRAMS.] LONDON, July 25. Obsequies. The funeral of the late Doan Stanley took place in Westminster Abbey to-day, in the presence of a largo number of dignitaries of the Church, members of tho Ministry, and others of high rank, who assembled to do honor to his remains. Many of the deceased’s private friends, and numerous spectators, were also present. The ceremony was conducted throughout with great impressiveness. The Infernal Machines. In tho Honso of Commons to-day tho question was put to the Homo Secretary in regard to tho reported seizure of infernal machines which had boon brought from America to Liverpool among the cargo of the ship Malta. In reply, Sir W. Vernon Harcourt confirmed the report, and said that tho machines had been confiscated by the authorities at Liverpool.
