Company’s steamship Malwa, with the English mail, dated London, June 17 th, arrived at King George's Sound this morning from Galle. SYDNEY, July 20. A Good DividendThe Commercial Banking Company of Sydney has declared a dividend for the past half year at the rate of twenty-five per cent, per annum. £IO,OOO is added to the reserve fund, and £10,887 is carried to next account. Munificence. Mr Thomas Walker, of Yaralla, has made a donation of £SOOO for tho foundation of bursaries to assist poor students
at the University. One half of the amount is to ho reserved for female stmdonte.
