OHBISTOHTJBOH. Wednesday, July 13. [Before J. Nugent Wood, Esq., BM.] Lunacy feom Deink.—A firßt offender waß aent to Addington for eight days for medical treatment. Neglect of Obdbbs. —A case against John Gilbert, now in Oamaru, for neglecting to contribute to the support of his children at Burnham, waa remanded for a fortnight. Notice to bo gent to the district police that if the sum of £2 is not paid by him within that time, distress to issue. Thomas Coleman, similarly oharged, was also allowed a forttigbt tojpay up. Charles Wadey, was oharged with neglecting to remove offensive matter from a right of way near Waller's bock premises in Chrietchurch, after having notice to that effoct served on him from the Board of Health. It appeared that defendant had undertaken to fill up a depression, but to do so his men had carted rubbish into it, which was a great nuisance to the neighbourhood. Case ordered to stand over for a week io allow.of tho nuisanco being removed.

Kobdeby witii Violence. —James White, Frank Carey, Margaret Sudden, and Jano Brown were brought up, charged with having oommitted robbery with violence on the person of James Kennedy, at Bakaia, on July 4th.
