[better's telegbams.] PARIS, July 12. The War in Tunis. Owing to the determined resistance offered by the Arab tribes to the French troops, orders have been sent to the French Squadron in the Mediterranean to proceed to Sfax to assist tho vessels now engaged in bombarding the place, and to strengthen the force sent for service against the Arabs. Telegrams are to hand from Tunis announcing that several regiments of Tunisian troops, despatched to Sfax to quell the rising there, refused on their arrival to fight the insurgents, and have consequently since been conveyed back to Tunis.
