MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : TUESDAY, JUNE 28. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Rotorua, at 1.4 U p m.; late fee letters, at 2 p.m.; gnard's van, 2.30 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Penguin, at 320 p.m.; late fee letters, at 330 p.m.; gnard's van, 4 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 29. For the United Kingdom ard Continent of Europe, via Brindisi (for specially addressed correspondence only), and Australian Colonies, per express train, to connect with s.s. Rotoroa, as follows :—Ordinary letters, at 7 a.m. ; books and newspapers at 6 a.m ; registered letters, at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2Sth ; money orders, at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28th. Late fee letters may be posted in the travelling Post-office van ' attached to the express train on Wednesday, ■ June 29th FRIDAY, JULY 8. ; For West Const Sounds, per express train, , to connect with the s.s. Wallace, at 7 a.m. ) The next mail for the United Kingdom, via t San Francisco, &c, will close on July - 16th. This mail will be duo in London on August 30th. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Poitmaster.
