MAIL NOTICES
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : FRIDAY, JUNE 24. For Cape Town (specially addressed correspondence only), per Ocean Banger (sailing vessel), at 4.20 p.m.; late fee letters, at 4.35 SATURDAY, JUNE 25. For Northern Ports, per Wanaka, at 7.30 p.m. The guard's van must not he used for this mail. For Northern Ports, New South Wales, and Queensland, per Albion, at 8 p.m. The guard's van must not be used for this mail. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, &c, will close on July 16th. This mail will be duo in London on August 30th. The following appeared yesterday on the Telegraph Notice Board : Mails for Australian Colonies, Europe, and United Kingdom, per Arawata, close at Bluff on Friday, June 24th, at 11.30 a.m.
