WRECK OF THE PAKEHA,

SIX LIVES LOST. The following telegram was received at the Police Depot this afternoon : SOUTHBRIDGB, June 11.

The brig Pakeha ran ashore on the Ninety, mile Beach, near Lake Ellesmere, at nine o’clock this morning. Several of the fishermen went to the wreck with boats to render assistance. They found the vessel a total wreck, and all hands (supposed to be seven in number), except one man, drowned. The sur* vivor’s name is .Christian. He was found on the beach, insensible.
