AGRICULTURAL & PASTORAL ASSOCIATION.
The annual meeting of the Agricultural and Pastoral Association was hold to-day, at two o’clock. Those present wore—Messrs J. R, Hill (in the chair), H. E. Alport, John Anderson, H. P. Murruy-Aynsley, McKoig, T. Aoland, D. Craig, Gould, Stanley Edwards, Mcllraith, Henderson, Bruce, Money, W. Norman, Mr O. B. Taylor, O. Kiver, Banks, Wilkin, Sutherland, J. T. Matson, Walls, Aikman, Mann, Dunbar, Candy, Newton, Davison, Qilmour, and Beavnn. The Chairman explained that the special object of the meeting was to confirm the rules as they had boon passed at a previous mooting. Ho road tho rules suriiitim. Mr H. P. Murray-Aynsley moved, in connection with clause 11 of iho rules—“ That a sum not exceeding £3OOO be placed at Ihs disposal of tho committee.” Ho further suggested that tho committee might be entrusted with an additional £IOOO. Mr Mcllraith seconded the motion. He was sure the committee would not expend one pound more than was absolutely necessary. Tho motion was carried. Tho rules were then duly confirmed. The following now members were elected— Messrs W. Ouddon, J. O. Earr, T. 8. Weston, A. W. Bennetts, H. P. Hill, W, D. Lawrence, W. E. Pearson, A. Clark, A. Ayers, and W. O, Rutherford.
This concluded tho business, and the meet ing adjourned.
