COURSING.

PAPANUI COURSING CLUB. _____ f Sport was resumed yesterday at Mr S. Bailey’s farm, Templeton, The attendance was not so good as on the two previous days. The rough ground coursed on Wednesday with its wire fences told against Bab, who was withdrawn. We have to congratulate the club on its first meeting, but would suggest the selection of a better locality on a future occasion, as the river bod, although good for potting, is detrimental to good coursing. Mr J. Turner made an efficient judge, and his decisions were on the whole well received; and Mr W. Beard, as slipper, gave general satisfaction. We append results. ALL-AGED STAKES. First ties (continued). Lady beat Sunbeam Parmesan ran a bye Second ties. Sweep beat Mark Lemcn Spring beat Flying Fish Lady boat Parmesan Matchem ran a bye Third ties. Matchem boat Sweep Spring beat Lady Final course. Mr W. Hole’s f w d Spring, by Borgia—Red Rose, boat Matchem, and won the stake. PUPPY STAKES. Second ties. Flyer beat Little Nell Fan ran a bye Final course. Messrs. Thomas and Wild’s f b Flyer, by Myrniong—Fly, beat Fun, and won the stake. SOUTHLAND CLUB.
