Enthusiastic preliminary meetings were held last night at the Theatre Royal and at Burwood in reference to the verdict recently delivered in the “ Bulletin ” libel case. Resolutions were passed at both meetings “ That subscription lists be opened to indemnify the proprietors of the paper for the cests of the trial, which are estimated at £1200,” One hundred pounds were promised at the Theatre Royal meeting and over £2O at Burwood. After remaining for eleven hours she got off by the aid of tug boats and returned to her moorings. A diver is to examine her today, and report whether she is seaworthy or not. All Right.
