Midlothian, chip, 1085 tons, Frew, from Newcastle. Koyao, Stead and Co., agents. Cleared— May 12. Franco Cherie, ship, 608 tons, Savary, for London. New Zealand Shipping Company, agents. Wave of Life, schooner, 73 tons, Herbert, for Falorna Sound. Master, agent. Sailed —May 12. Penguin, s a , 442 tons, Malcolm, for Port Chalmers. Union Steamship Company, agents. The strong winds prevailing the last few days have interfered with the time-ball keeper’s work of dropping the ball at noon. The New Zealand Shipping Company yesterday cleared the ship Franco uherie for London, with a full cargo of wheat. The Sydenham, to follow her, for the same destination, will finish loading to-morrow. The Union Steamship Company’s s.s. Penguin arrived yesterday at noon from Wellington. Picton and Nelson, and sailed at 3.30 p.m. for Dunedin. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Auckland, May 12.
