A stiff breeze was blowing at the time. It is supposed some gear below gave way. The men aboard her bad barely time to escape, and lost everything. The vessel was cased in a wood sheathing, which was secured by chains, which, it is believed, have given away. NEW PLYMOUTH, April 30. Accident. Mr Rawson, R.M., met with an accident last night. A wrestling match for £SO a-side came off this morning, at Lea and Whitley’s saloon, between Hudson, of Dunedin, and Slade, of Temuka. The match was for the beat five falls out of nine, and was won by Slade. Hudson was out of condition, or the result would probably have been different.
