Ernest Greatrex, representative of Greatrex and Son, saddlers and ironmongers, of Wellington, and Wallsell, England, has been summoned for not furnishing Property Tax returns, as required under the Property Tax Act. This is the first case laid by the Commissioner, and will be heard in a day or two. Death through NegligenceAt the inquest on Wm. Peckham, the jury returned a verdict that he came by his death through the upsetting of the cart. They censured the contractors for bridgerepairs for not haring the road properly lighted.
