The ship Ispahan, from Capetown, consigned to the Now Zealand Shipping Company, was reported to be off the Heads when our express left port j also the brig Thomas and Henry. The s.s. Go-ahead will not leave here for Wellington and Napier until Friday next. The ship Marlborough, for London, has commenced to load, and will leave punctually as advertised. The s 8. Grafton, Captain Johnson, arrived from the West Coast and Wellington yesterday morning, and left in the evening for Timaru. The brig Emperor arrived yesterday from Newcastle, having left there on March 15th. The length of her passage is accounted for by a remarkable continuance of light winds and calms. The Hannah Barrett from Wellington, Janaett and Clio from Waitapn, Ocean Bird from Nelson, Wave of Life and Sea Gall from Kaipara, were reported to be off the Port last night. The Union .“steamship Company’s steamers Rotorua and Penguin arrived yesterday, the former from the North, and the Penguin from Port Chalmers. The Rotorua loft at 430 p.m. from the South and Melbourne, and the Penguin, for Wellington and northern porta late last night. The Min-y-don will leave here the first thing this morning for London. The Romeo, char* tered by Messrs Rojas, Stead and Co. and Messrs P. Cunningham and Co., commences to take in wheat to-day ter the United Kingdom, aud the Firth of Lome wiil commence to load for the same firms to-morrow. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Auckland, April 5. Arrived—Look-out, from Sydney. East Lothian, from Noumea The barque Orient sailed on February 11th from New York for Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Auckland, with general cargo and 500 cases of kerosene for Dunedin, and 200 for Lyttelton and Auckland. The barque Sarah Scott cleared cn February 12th for Adelaida and Dunedin, from Boston for Dunedin, with 3350 cases of kerosene. The brigantine Camille is loading at Hew York for Auckland, and will probably clear W March 30tb. Russell. April 5. Arrived Eotomahnna, from Sydney, at Russell at 6 o’clock this morning. She left Sydney at 6.40 p.m. on the 31st. Experienced fresh southerly winds until her arrival. PassenAuckland ; Messrs Parker. Hindle, Robertson, Freeman, Westcott, E.
