New Zealand 4£ per cent. 1879-1904 loan, 97J. Best Scotch pig iron, No. 1, f.o.b. in Clyde, 50s. April 1. Revenue. The revenue returns for the quarter amount to £27,875 500, showing an increase of £750,000 compared with the corresponding quarter last year. The revenue for the year amounts to £84,062,500, showing an increase of £2,750,000 compared with last year. Earl BeaoonsfieldThe latest bulletin issued this morning regarding the health of Earl Beaconsfield states that his lordship is much weaker from the effects of the relapse, hut otherwise has improved during the night. Few Colonial LoansLoans for Tasmania for £300,000, at 4 per cent., and for Fiji for £150,000, at 41 per cent., have heea issued on tho London market. ST. PETERSBURG, March 31. An Onward Step. An Imperial decree has been issued announcing that a form of representative municipal Government for this city will forthwith be initiated.
