[PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.] WELLINGTON. Moroh 31
Native game, consisting of wild duck of any species, bittern, pied stilt, plover, wild geese, dotterell, native pigeon, teal, black atilt, plover, curlew, quail, may be taken or killed within the counties of Amuri, Kaikoura, Cheviot, Ashley, Akaroa, Selwyn, and Ashburton, between April Ist and July 31st. William Styche, William Adams, and Frank Sharp to ho rangers under the Animals Protection Act, 1880, within tho Provincial District of Canterbury. Albert Parr Parsons, to be a member of the Licensing Court for Rangiora, vice S. Heywood, resigned. Mount Somers, Upper Ashburton, and Rangitata Road Districts are constituted by proclamation. The prisons at Greymouth and Lawrence are abolished.
