CHRISTCHURCH. Wednesday, Maboh 30

(Before W. Dcamer and B. Dobson, Esqs.) Dettnkennuss. —William Smith, for being drunk and using obscene language, was fined 20s. John Brady, alias Bradley, was fined 10s. For first offences two men were fined 5a each. The case of William Watson, against whom, besides being drunk, there is pending a charge of attempting to obtain money on a valueless cheque, was adjourned till April Ist.
