CITY GUARDS.
The seventh and last competition for the season for the Christchurch City Guards’ challenge bolt took place yesterday morning at the Cashmere range, when the following scores wore made :
200jds. 300yds. Total Lance Corpl Frazer ... 23 23 46 Col. Sorgt. Parker ... 25 19 41 Sergt. Francis 20 20 40 Sub Lieut. Francis ... 19 17 36
Corpl King 18 18 36 Private Somerfiold ... 18 18 36 Lance Corpl. Anlsebrook 17 15 32 Private Cox ... ... 16 16 32 Lance Corpl. Baker ... 13 17 30 Private J. Parker ... 16 14 23 Hitherto the belt has been won thus, twice by Sub Lieut. Francis, Sergt. Francis, and Lance Oorpl. Frazer, and once by Color Sergt, Parker. It wiL remain in the possession of Lance Corpl. Frazer for one month, at the expiration of which time it will bo competed for again by the throe who have twice won it. The ranges on the next occasion will bo from 200yds up to 600yds, seven shots at each.
