The Emperor, brig, arrived at Newcastle on February 28th., and the Edwin Bassett on the 25 th. The brig Annabell, Captain Yates, with part cargo of sugar from Mauritius, arrived yesterday from Dunedin. The s.s. Jane Douglas arrived yesterday at 12.5 am. from Kaikoura, and usual ports of call, and will leave to-day on the return trip, as advertised. . The British Ambassador, 1794 tons. Captain Davis, was at Newcastle loading for this port on the 2nd instant, also the Mennook, 822 tons, Captain Murray. The Union Steamship Company’s s.s. Beautiful Star, from Dunedin, arrivedat6 a m. yesterday, and loaves this morning on arrival of the ten past ten o’clock train for the Grey and tha West Coast porta. Owing to the dooking of the Union Company’s e.a. Penguin at Port Chalmers being a day delayed, that steamer will not leave hero for Wellington and Northern Ports until Wednesday, the 16th instant. The Hawen, which according to the published time table should leave hero for the 'North on the 21st, doss not leave until the 22nd. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Wellington, March 13.
