MARLBOROUGH RACES. [PBBB3 ASSOCIATION TBLKQBAM.j BLENHEIM, February 16. Despite the lowering aspect of the sky during Monday and Tuesday last, this morning broke out fine and clear, with a cool breeze blowing across the plain. The state of the course was very unfavorable to good racing, the protracted spell of dry sultry weather lately experienced having rendered it both excessively hot and dusty. By about eleven o'clock, some dozen or more of the sporting fraternity had erected as many stands, whereat thoy carried on a variety of games of chance. The secretary of the club took prompt measures to prevent any infringement of the rule laid down as to these, and with the assistance of the police, succeeded in clearing the grouud of stalls objected to. Tdis operation had to be repeated later on, when the police, accompanied by several of the stewards, made a raid that had a lasting effect. The results of the day's sport were as follows:

The four got away quietly, Kale leading, with Grey Momus behind. When half round Kate Coventry went off the course. Dick and Grey Momus went past the stand together, both taking their hurdles in grand style. Half way round the latter had a slight lead, going steadily.
