[eBUXKB’B TEtBOEAHS.] LONDON, February 14. Reinforcements. In accordance with the announcement made on Saturday by the Secretary of State for War in the House of Commons, two regiments of cavalry and one thousand infantry have been ordered to proceed to Natal to further reinforce Sir George Colley in the Transvaal The Discontented. A meeting took place in Hyde Park in opposition to the measure proposed by the Government for the settlement of the agitation in Ireland. A considerable number of people wore present. Several violent speeches wore made, and copies of the Irish Coercion Bill wore burned on the platform. A Ladies’ LeagueThe Ladies’League, which has recently been formed in Dublin, has for its object the furtherance of the agitation for the settlement of the question of the ownership of land in Ireland. CONSTANTINOPLE, February 13. An Alarm. News to hand from the Island of Crete reports that the inhabitants are at present much disturbed over the possibility i of the Island being coded to Greece in I partial settlement of the Turco-Greok difficulty.
CAPETOWN, February 13. Cape War. Negotiations for a cessation of hostilities between the Cape forces and Basutos have recently been proaoeding, and a week’s armistice has been proclaimed throughout Basutoland and Transkei.
