The Emerald, from Foxton, and the Saxon, from Tairua, arrived yesterday, both with timber. The Camperdown arrived at Deal December 28th, the Abernyte at Gravesend December 30th. The Gareloch left London for this port December 25th. The Firth of Lome, from Glasgow, is fully due, being ont now 91 days. The barque Elizabeth Graham, from London, is ont about 96 days. The Union Steamship Company’s a.a. Penguin arrived on Saturday with the inward San Francisco mail at 1.15 p.m. The steamer left Oochnnga on Wednesday last at 6 p.m., arrived at Taranaki next day at 7 am., and le t at 10 a.m., arriving off Nelson lighthouse at midnight on Thursday. Transhipped the West Coast mails into the as. Wallace, then waiting to receive them at about fifteen miles from the shore. Was detained for half an hour, but made the Melion wharf at 5 a.m. on Friday. Loft two hours after for Picton, and reached there at 2 p.m.; stayed just an hour in Pioton, and made a four hours and a half run thence to Wellington. Was jast two hours in Wellington, and left at 9.30 p.m for Lyttelton. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Bluff, February 13. The Albion left Sandridge with the N.Z. portion of the Sncz mails at 2.30 p.m. on the Bth inst., and arrived at Bluff Harbor at 3 p.m. on 13th. Experienced light N.E 'winds and smooth sea.
