The Customs duties collected at Christchurch on Tuesday, February Ist, ware as follows : Spirits, £258 4s 8d ; wine, jBIO3 2b ; beer, JJ6I 19s; goods by weight, £4 2a fid ; ad valorem, JB4SS. Total, £ 174 8a 2d. COMMERCIAL TELEGRAMS. Dunedin, February 2. The supply of fat cattle was excessively large, and priues underwent a further reduction of 2s 6d per lOOlbs; prime beef, 20s per IOOIbs. Tho market for fat sheep is folly supplied; best mutton, IJd to 2d. Tkere is a demand for store cattle of good 2[nality and forward condition, and tho demand or store sheep is active. Wheat—There is no business of any importance, and quotat ons are nominal. Oats are quiet; milling, Is 7d; feed, Is 4d to 1s fid; barley, no change. .
