The ship Corby, of Liverpool, bound from London for Sydney, put into Falmouth with loss of jlDboom and out-water started, through collision off the Lizard with the Star of Bengal, bound for Csloatta from London. The officers of the Corby state that when twenty miles off land their look-out man saw a large ship bearing down on them from the starboard. The Corby’s crew say that it was the place of the other vessel to give wav, but she beld on and fell across the bows of the Corby, which was on the port tack. They wore in collision ten minutes, and then parted. A boat ■was seen to be lowered from the other vaasol, which had meantime been ascertained to be the Star of Bengal. The captain of the Corby states that he saw the Star of Bengal’s lights for one hour after the ships had cleared, and that he has no ground to think that she sank. A collision occurred between the barque Galatea, from Swansea for the Cape of Good Hope, and the steamer Edendale, of Sunderland, from Cardiff for Venice. The Galatea was sunk, and the crew saved and taken to Falmouth by the Edendale, which put back for repairs. The captain and six of the orow of the French barque Camille, of and from Caen for Blyth, in ballast, were landed at Yarmouth by the steamship St. Oswin, of and from Shields IcrAgniltt in Spaiu, with cools, which came into collision with and sank the barque, thirty miles til the Humber.
